Overview:
Part-time Preschool Teacher:
Summer turns the corner and the fall school year is just around the corner. We continue to expand here at TTG, and some of our students who were off for the summer are returning to begin the full-time school year. With our summer educational intern teachers returning to college, we need a part-time Preschool Assistant Teacher. There is a possibility this could expand to a full-time position. We are looking for a passionate, personable, and caring teacher. As an Assistant Preschool Teacher, you play a crucial role in providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children to learn and grow. Maybe you have a background in early childhood education or daycare? Or, perhaps you are considering a career in early childhood education? Duties:
  • Assist in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for children
  • Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured learning
  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress
  • Ensure the health and safety of all children in your care
  • Supervise children during meals, nap time, and outdoor play
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
  • Assist with diaper changes, potty training, and basic hygiene needs
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Willing to receive training in early childhood development principles and practices
  • Willing to receive training for first aid procedures for children
  • Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children
  • Familiarity with various teaching methods for young children
  • Ability to create engaging activities that promote learning through play We offer competitive pay based on experience.
