Job Description
St. Gabriel Catholic School in Connersville, Indiana, is seeking part time teacher assistants. This position organizes and leads activities for children within assigned class/groups in a classroom setting, offering a safe and caring environment for children that promotes social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual growth. This position provides support through assistance in the educational environment. Applicants must have a genuine interest and ability to work with children in a sensitive, mature, and enthusiastic manner; general knowledge of the needs of children. Applicants need basic computer skills including email, spreadsheets, word processing, and apps. The position will require frequent lifting (up to 40 pounds), carrying, walking, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pushing/pulling and reaching; exposure to cleaning chemicals and bodily fluids; must be able to physically navigate the physical setting and be able to efficiently perform the essential functions of the position.
