Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and providing a nurturing environment for young children to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children Complete necessary records Conduct systematic observations and evaluations of each child's progress; Create and maintain a portfolio for each child in your care group Create a safe and nurturing learning environment Supervise children during activities and ensure their safety Maintain frequent communications with families through documentation on daily sheets, informal discussions, communication app, and conferences Cultivate positive relationships with children and parents Maintain program site and equipment Follow all center policies, state regulations and national accreditation standards Complete 20 hours of professional development each year (through webinars, conferences, etc.)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree/ Associates in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
• Strong knowledge of child development principles
• Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to create and implement engaging curriculum
• Familiarity with early intervention strategies
• Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning
• Understanding of child welfare guidelines

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Experience in toddler care and early childhood
• Proficiency in math concepts for early childhood education
• Ability to develop individualized learning plans for students
• Knowledge of effective communication techniques in childcare settings
