We are a close-knit childcare center focused on providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children can learn, play, and grow. This position will assist in classrooms throughout the building as needed, with a primary focus on our infant and toddler classrooms. We are looking for someone who is flexible, patient, reliable, and comfortable jumping in wherever help is needed.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, approximately 12:00 PM-6:00 PM Additional hours may be available and can be discussed. Responsibilities Provide a safe, loving, and engaging environment for children Assist with age-appropriate activities, learning experiences, and play Actively engage with children through reading, music, art, sensory play, and other activities Support children's social, emotional, physical, and developmental growth Maintain active supervision and follow all classroom safety procedures Assist with diapering, feeding, meals, snacks, naps, and other daily routines Comfort and care for infants and young children Communicate professionally and positively with parents and coworkers Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom Work collaboratively with other teachers and administration Assist in different classrooms based on daily staffing and classroom needs Follow all KidzPointe Academy policies and childcare licensing requirements What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual Patient, loving, and nurturing Comfortable working with infants and toddlers Flexible and willing to help throughout the center Creative, energetic, and actively engaged with children Able to work well as part of a team Strong communication skills Previous childcare or early childhood education experience is preferred We're looking for someone who wants to be part of the classroom, not just supervise it.
