Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant who loves children and Jesus to join our preschool family. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a love of learning, promote social-emotional development, and ensure each child's individual needs are met. This paid position offers an opportunity to contribute to the foundational growth of preschoolers. Duties Assist lead teachers with implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy education, math activities, and early childhood development strategies Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized learning environment Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, creativity, and cognitive development Help with classroom routines such as snack time, and outdoor play to ensure smooth transitions throughout the day Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials, toys, and learning resources to uphold health and safety standards Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or school settings; familiarity with classroom management techniques Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and children Experience in behavior management techniques that promote positive social interactions and emotional regulation Join us in making a meaningful difference in young learners' lives!
