57770721 Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Paraprofessional to support teachers and students in creating a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment. This position works closely with classroom teachers to provide instructional support, assist with student supervision, and help meet the individual needs of students with disabilities. Responsibilities Assist teachers with classroom preparation, instructional materials, and small group instruction. Support students with academic, behavioral, and daily living needs. Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment. Supervise students during classroom and school activities. Assist with behavior management and classroom routines. Support physical therapy programs and basic care needs as assigned. Maintain accurate records and confidentiality. Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, parents, and administrators. Participate in training and professional development. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with children required. For positions with responsibilities beyond core services, a minimum of two (2) years of college coursework is required. For assignments in Title I schools, candidates must meet one of the following requirements: Completion of at least two years of study at an accredited institution of higher education; Associate's degree or higher; or Demonstrated knowledge and ability to assist with instruction in core academic subjects through an approved state or local assessment.
