In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants and toddlers. Responsibilities Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for infants and toddlers Support classroom management by supervising children during activities, mealtimes, naps, and transitions to ensure safety and positive behavior Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate effectively with parents about daily routines, milestones, and any concerns regarding their child's well-being Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure environment for children Support lead teachers in documenting developmental progress and maintaining accurate records for each child Adhere to mandated reporting laws and confidentiality standards while working closely with team members to support children's needs Qualifications High School Diploma is required. Associate's degree, or higher, in early childhood preferred, but not required Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving roles is highly valued Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) to respond effectively in emergencies Strong communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement Passion for nurturing young children's growth through engaging activities and compassionate care Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every child feels valued and supported!
