General Summary:
A Specialized Paraprofessional to Interventionist assists in providing students with reading and time management strategies, while progress monitoring of students.
Essential Responsibilities:
Assists students primarily in grades K through 2 as an early literacy interventionist. Collects and assesses data and digital assessments. Implements instructional decisions in collaboration with the Interventionist. Initiates responsive instructional decisions. Collaborates with the Intervention Team. Prompt arrival to all scheduled interventions. Holds students accountable to high levels of achievement. Strong communication strategies in person and through email. Openness to receive regular feedback and follow through based on the observation. Follow programs and best teaching strategies with fidelity. Confidence in problem solving and recognizing when additional support is a necessity. Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned by supervisor. Maintains confidentiality as defined within the policy and procedure manual. Qualifications Education - High School Diploma (minimum), 48 college credits/Associate's Degree/ability to pass the ParaPro Assessment Experience - Evidence of experience working with students
