West Lafayette Job Summary The Ben & Maxine Miller Child Development Laboratory School is seeking an Associate Teacher to join our team. The Associate Teacher will assist the Head Teacher in planning and implementing an early childhood education program for a classroom in the Ben & Maxine Miller Child Development Laboratory School. Under the supervisor of the Head Teacher, this role will support the daily operations of the classroom in the routines, communicating with parents, supervise teacher assistants, practicum students, and facilitate research.

What We're Looking For:
Required:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Education, Childhood Development, or related field. One year of experience providing care and early education for young children.
Skills Needed:
Knowledge of children's development. Ability to manage groups of children. Must be able to take initiative in implementing program goals and providing developmentally appropriate early childhood curriculum. Effective working with children and adults. Ability to manage a classroom of young children through positive guidance. What is

Previous teaching experience.
Additional Information:
For full consideration, candidates must be at least 21 years of age or older. This position requires a pre-employment drug screening and a health assessment, including a criminal history background check.
