Job Description

Fort Scott USD 234 is seeking qualified individuals to serve as Extra-Curricular Student Support Paraprofessional(s) to provide supervision and individualized support for students with disabilities during extracurricular activities, school-sponsored events, athletic competitions, field trips, and other activities outside the regular school day. Assignments may vary based on student needs and may occur at any district building or event location. Primary Responsibilities Provide direct paraprofessional support to assigned students during extracurricular activities and events. Assist students with participation, supervision, communication, behavioral support, and personal care as needed. Promote student safety, inclusion, and successful participation in extracurricular programs. Work collaboratively with coaches, sponsors, activity supervisors, special education staff, and administrators. Maintain confidentiality and follow all district policies and student support plans.
