Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. A great Robin to our Batman. The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role is essential for fostering children's growth and development through engaging activities and effective classroom management. The Assistant Teacher will work closely with students, helping them achieve their academic and social goals while ensuring a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Duties:
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children in the daycare
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide physical education activities to promote gross motor skills development
- Teach basic math concepts through fun and interactive methods
- Provide tutoring and support to children who may need extra assistance
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
Skills:
- Strong understanding of child welfare and development
- Ability to create engaging and educational lesson plans
- Patience and compassion when working with children of different abilities
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
