Job Description
Support Young Learners Every Day! Preschool Teacher Aide (Ages 3-5) Full-Time | Part-Year | Non-Exempt | In Person Make a Difference in Early Childhood Education Do you have a passion for helping preschool-aged children learn and grow? Join SEK-CAP, Inc. as a Teacher Aide and play an essential role in creating a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment. You'll partner with teachers to support curriculum implementation, encourage social-emotional development, and ensure active supervision of children during daily routines and activities. What You'll Do Engage children in play-based learning and language development. Assist with classroom activities, indoor/outdoor play, and mealtime routines. Support curriculum implementation and positive behavior strategies. Observe and document child development in the agency's data system. Collaborate with staff, families, and volunteers to create a welcoming environment. What We're Looking For High School diploma or GED required CDA or Associate's in Early Childhood Education preferred (or willingness to obtain CDA within 12 months) Previous experience working with preschool-aged children Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days Valid driver's license and ability to meet agency insurance guidelines
