Job Description

Just Family Center, a part of the Sevita family, provides home and community-based services including day programs for elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs, attendant care and case management. This allows seniors to obtain quality healthcare while remaining active and involved in the community and continuing to live in their own homes. Our programs are staffed with qualified, experienced licensed nurses and caregivers who are trained to provide individual assistance to each person we serve.

11/HR Would you like to make a difference every day in someone's life? As a Program Assistant in our Adult Day Program, you'll provide meaningful support and play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for the individuals we serve. Position Overview Provide care and support to health-impaired older adults and individuals with brain injuries, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and behavioral or mental health diagnoses Assist with the development and implementation of individual and group activity programs Support daily living activities including personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and medication administration Promote independence by teaching life skills, encouraging self-advocacy, and building self-esteem Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of individuals in a structured day program setting Assist with participation in community-based activities and social engagement Foster positive relationships and encourage social interaction
REQUIREMENTS - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
