The Computer Aided Drafting and Design / Surveying Instructor will provide instruction to and advising services for students in the program and students interested in the program.
Job Duties:
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Deliver instruction, instructional activities and prepare learning materials and lab projects for all CADD/Surveying Program courses each semester in accordance with approved curriculum.
- Maintain and manage a class/lab of training of students. Serve as advisor for assigned program students, maintain records and reports on student attainment, attendance, activity, and progress.
- Complete instructional support processes such as syllabi development, maintenance of supplies for labs and tool rooms, course assessments, and classroom organization.
- Participate in professional development and community service related to the program.
- Serve as Program Coordinator which includes such duties as daily student support for the program; managing program budget; prepare and present the program review; updating course curriculum; and assessment activities.
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree in the discipline preferred and/or six years related experience. Excellent skills in verbal and written communication, as well as computer skills.
