Summary Job Description:
Child Development Aide Full Time, First Shift - 8:30am-5pm This position exists to aid the lead teacher in providing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that will meet the children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs.
Job Duties:
Assist in during mealtimes, make meals a pleasant learning experience, and model good health practices.
Sanitize indoor and outdoor areas as needed to provide a safe environment, keeping the rooms neat, cheerful, and interesting.
Assist in planning, preparing, and implementing the curriculum.
Assist in providing opportunities to help develop children's understanding of concepts and ideas.
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
Fifteen (15) hours annual training as approved by Cabinet for Human Resources standard for Childcare Centers required post-hire
Preferred Requirements:
1-3 years' experience in a structured setting
