Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

Associates degree, or successful completion of the ParaPro Assessment with a minimum score of 450, or at least 48 college semester credit hours Direct experience in special education (SPED) classroom settings Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to facilitate virtual sessions with professionalism and care Meet district credentialing requirements, including passing a drug screen and fingerprint background check

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a point of contact and support for virtual school psychologist or SLP sessions Aid in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and classroom activities Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with varied needs Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth daily operations and provide general paraeducator support Attend to the needs of the classroom or designated area, adapting as caseloads and assignments evolve
