What You'll Be Responsible For Supporting the Lead Teacher in creating a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment Assisting with the implementation of the Frog Street curriculum through daily activities, play, and routines Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom Building positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members Supervising children and ensuring their safety, well-being, and individual needs are met throughout the day Assisting with classroom transitions, meals, diapering or toileting, nap time, and daily routines as appropriate for the age group Encouraging children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through positive interactions Working collaboratively with the teaching team to provide a consistent, high-quality learning environment What We're Looking For Experience working with infants through Pre-K in a licensed childcare or preschool setting is preferred A genuine love for working with young children Someone dependable, positive, and eager to learn A team player who communicates well with both families and coworkers Someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed to support the team Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) Knowledge of childcare licensing requirements and child safety standards is preferred Ability to lift, bend, sit on the floor, and actively engage with young children throughout the day What You Can Expect From Us A supportive leadership team that values your work A clean, organized, and well-run school environment Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off and ongoing training Why FCA We are a growing, multi-site preschool organization with a reputation for doing things with intention, consistency, and care.
