In this role, you will serve as a versatile classroom support, stepping into various teaching environments to ensure seamless daily operations and enriched learning experiences for young children. Your energetic approach and commitment to fostering a nurturing, engaging, and educational atmosphere will help promote optimal development in children across different age groups and classroom settings. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to early childhood education while gaining diverse classroom experience. Responsibilities Provide flexible classroom support across multiple age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary students. Assist lead teachers with lesson planning, curriculum development, and implementing engaging activities aligned with educational standards such as literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior management strategies and creating a safe, inclusive environment conducive to learning and child welfare. Engage children in developmentally appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social-emotional skills, and early intervention strategies. Help maintain organized classroom environments through effective classroom management techniques and routine child care practices. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster a collaborative educational community. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, private school settings, or similar environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including curriculum development, lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention strategies is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and colleagues professionally and clearly. Experience with Montessori methods.
