• Position Overview
• We are seeking
• Paraprofessionals/School Aides
• to support a school in Attleboro. These positions will primarily be based in
• sub-separate classrooms
• , with some
• 1:1 support
• assignments. Paraprofessionals will work with students who have
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, and other behavioral or developmental diagnoses
• . This is a hands-on role supporting student learning, behavior, and daily needs in a structured school environment.
• Responsibilities
• + Support students in classroom and 1:1 settings + Implement de-escalation strategies as needed + Assist students with academic and functional activities + Collect and track student behavioral/academic data (various data types and systems may be used) + Support students with personal care needs, including
• changing and toileting
• , if required + Monitor and respond to student behaviors, which may include: + Aggression + Elopement + Flopping + Self-injurious or injurious behaviors toward others
• Required Skills & Experience
• + Prior
• Special Education experience
• (required) + Experience working with students with
• ASD and behavioral needs
• + Ability to effectively apply

• + Familiarity with

• Minimum Requirements:

• + High School diploma or equivalent required + Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice + Current CPR if applicable + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age
