The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones through engaging activities and personalized care. This role offers an opportunity to positively influence the growth and learning of infants and toddlers while collaborating with a team of passionate educators. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in infants and toddlers Provide attentive caregiving, including feeding, diapering, and comforting children as needed Foster a safe and clean classroom environment following health and safety guidelines Engage children in educational activities that encourage curiosity and exploration Monitor and document each child's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns Manage classroom routines efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations Incorporate early childhood education best practices, including behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies Maintain certifications such as First Aid and CPR to ensure safety standards are met Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers Experience with special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus Background in classroom management, caregiving, babysitting, nannying, or behavior management is advantageous Demonstrated ability to work effectively with young children and their families Certification in First Aid is required; additional certifications in special education or early childhood education are desirable This position provides an enriching environment for both children and educators dedicated to fostering early childhood growth.
Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
