Lead Special Education Paraprofessional / Substitute Teacher Extended School Year (ESY) - ABLES Program We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Lead Special Education Paraprofessionals / Substitute Teachers to support our ABLES Program during the Extended School Year (ESY). This is a short-term contract opportunity working with students with significant support needs in a structured, team-based environment. ??

June 29, 2026 ?? About the ABLES Program The ABLES program serves students with significant global developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, and/or intellectual impairments . Students typically demonstrate needs across academic, communication, social, and activities of daily living skill areas. Instruction is grounded in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and may include: Discrete Trial Training (DTT) Incidental teaching opportunities Social curriculum instruction Positive Behavior Support Plans Sensory regulation and communication supports ?? ESY Program Focus The primary goal of the summer program is to maintain student progress and prevent regression by continuing to implement students' individualized programs. Staff will have the opportunity to sit with teachers during the last week of the school year to review IEPs , behavior plans, and student programming to ensure a strong start to ESY. ? Role Responsibilities (May Include) Supporting and/or leading small group or individualized instruction under special education teachers Implementing ABA-based instructional and behavior support strategies Assisting with communication, social skills, and daily living activities Maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment Collaborating with teaching staff and related service providers
Minimum Requirements:
