Job Description Looking for an exciting new opportunity?! Kiddie Academy of Burlington is hiring enthusiastic, creative, and energetic teachers and assistants (Infant/ Toddler/ PreK/ Kindergarten). Teachers should be EEC teacher certified. We are also are looking for assistance. Responsible for daily planning, management, and supervision of classroom and students.
Essential Functions:
Ensures that appearance, cleanliness and safe environment of classroom are appropriately maintained. Completes all academy and classroom paperwork. Attends and participates in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings as requested Assists and supervises children during all activities. Prepares and implements classroom lesson plans, program, and schedule. Assists children with meal times and clean-up. Communicates appropriate information to parents; maintains developmental profiles for children. Maintains family information board and other classroom bulletin boards.
Additional Responsibilities:
Accepts temporary work assignments in the event regularly scheduled personnel is not available: for example, may answer telephones in office Assists with planning and implementing academy-wide events.
Meets with prospective families:
communicates appropriately with potential new customers. Competitive salary. Benefits include personal, vacation and holiday pay.
