Jobs › Erving, MA › Nutrition Program Assistant LifePath, Inc Nutrition Program Assistant Erving, MA Apply ERVING Nutrition Program Assistant The Nutrition Program Assistant is responsible for assignments at the Meals on Wheels Kitchen or a Congregate Dining Center. The role supports the program with flexible activities including; floating Dining Center Manager, kitchen food prep and clean up, administrative tasks, and substitute driver (mileage paid for meal delivery). This position will be primarily located in Shelburne, MA at the Highland Village facility with frequent assignments to other locations in the area. This is a part-time (15 hrs/wk) role serving the Franklin County and North Quabbin area. This position is eligible to participate in 401k. 6% pay differential for applicable bilingual skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
Flexibility and the ability to enjoy a variety of job assignments Strong communication and interpersonal skills Mathematical competence and attention to detail Excellent customer service and administrative skills Cooking skills to primarily reheat pre-prepared foods High school diploma or equivalent required. A valid driver?s license; reliable, insured transportation; and willingness to travel to some sites in our service area. Experience working with older adults and volunteers a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Duties to be assigned by the Nutrition Program Director may include any or all the following: Perform duties as Dining Center Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supervision of volunteers. Performing kitchen work as needed to prepare (generally re-heat pre-prepared food), serve, and clean up after the meal. Keeping relevant records and data. Perform duties as Kitchen Assistant at the Meals on Wheels Kitchen as needed. Serve as back-up for Home Delivered Meals routes as needed to deliver meals.
