Framingham Salary Range:
$20.50 - $21.50/hour depending on experience + s ign-on bonus (half paid after 6 months of employment and half paid after 1 year of employment/pro-rated for part-time). What you will do:
Teacher's Aide/ Assistant is responsible for providing behavioral and academic support within the classroom to the students and teachers. Assist Special Education Teacher/Instructor in delivering curriculum. Act as substitute teacher when necessary. The Teacher Assistant is expected to act professionally and in a manner that is consistent with Wayside's core service values: resiliency, excellence and diversity. Provide 1:1 support to students to maintain their ability to stay in the classroom. Offering behavioral support interventions if a student is unable to maintain in the classroom. Be able to multitask competing priorities to enact the program structure, strive for identified standards of behavior and to provide a positive role model for youth.

Bachelor's degree preferred. 6+ months of experience in educational settings preferred.
