Paraprofessional Hanover Public Schools - 4.1 Hanover, MA Job Details Part-time $21 - $27 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications General academic student support Student supervision Social skills building Student progress monitoring Activities of daily living (ADL) training Teacher collaboration Academic IEP goal implementation Communication with special education students Direct behavioral therapy Observational assessments for behavioral monitoring Small group instruction Assisting with ADLs Individualized instructions Classroom behavior modification Data collection for student progress in special education Safe environment creation IEP data collection Positive reinforcement (classroom management strategies) Life skills building Special education record keeping School policy and procedure enforcement Teaching life skills Language development (child development components) Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act in education Student progress notes Entry level Full Job Description 15 Hours per week Provide direct 1:1 or small-group instruction to support students in the development of communication, social, academic, and self-care skills.

Utilize reinforcement strategies and data-driven techniques to encourage positive behavior change.

Collect, record, and summarize data on student progress and behavior throughout sessions.

Collaborate with teachers and therapists to support carryover of skills across settings.

Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment at all times.

Adhere to all district and special education policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) and/or 504 Plan.
