Sep 1, 2026 Job Description Cape Cod Lighthouse Charter School is an established public middle school offering a project rich, interdisciplinary curriculum. Teachers are empowered by the inclusive and collaborative nature of their roles. Position open for this September for an Instructional Assistant. Provide academic, social and/or behavioral support to students with special needs under the direction of a licensed/highly qualified teacher in both inclusive and "pullout" settings. Work with individual students (1:1) or small groups of students to reinforce learning of materials. Collect data and anecdotal information to documents students' academic and behavioral progress. Assist in developing modified program materials for individuals or groups of students. Modify or rephrase text, directions, classroom instructions. Monitor student work and supervise curriculum-based and state-wide testing. Consultation and collaboration with Special Education and General Education Teachers as well as related service staff. Any and all other duties as may be assigned per the CCLCS Paraprofessional Contract.
