To Be Determined Job Description ESY Paraprofessional The Silver Lake Regional School District and Superintendency Union #31 districts are seeking multiple paraprofessionals to work in the Extended School Year (ESY) programs. Key Responsibilities Be able to implement behavior plans and facilitate appropriate social interactions. Assist with academic support within the whole class / small groups. Lift, transfer, and assist students with physical needs and assist with self care, as needed. Implement various teaching strategies/techniques under the direction of the ESY Teacher, ESY Coordinator, and related service providers. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Paraprofessionals will be assigned by the Director of Student Services or designee to sites that best meet the needs of the students and programming ESY Program Overview Students participate in the program from July 7
