August 24, 2026 The Lenox Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Special Education Paraprofessional for Morris Elementary School.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to students with IEPs in general education and/or special education settings. Implement accommodations, modifications, and behavior support plans as directed by special education staff. Assist in delivering academic, social, emotional, and behavioral interventions. Support students with communication needs, fine/gross motor needs, and daily living skills as required. Collaborate effectively with teachers, specialists, and families.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to build rapport with children and support diverse learners. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Experience working in an elementary or special education setting. Associates degree or higher, or completion of the ParaPro Assessment.
HOURS:
Approximately 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
COMPENSATION
$21.00 - $25.50 per hour Interested persons should submit a letter of interest, a current resume, and two letters of recommendation.
