58 per hour Benefits and Middlesex County Retirement System Eligible Education Support Professional (ESP) Unit Primary Purpose Under the supervision of the classroom teacher, the Integrated Preschool Assistant provides direct services to individuals and small groups of students in an inclusion setting. Duties and Responsibilities Supports students during small and large groups times to engage in educational and social interactions. Leads the class and/or small groups in activities. Provides direct support to individuals and small groups of students based on Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Under the direction of the classroom teacher or special education liaison, modifies and adapts instruction according to a student's IEP. Monitors student progress, records performance data, and communicates such to the classroom teacher. Assist students in completing activities of daily living. Prepares instruction materials according to teacher guidelines. Promotes appropriate social interaction and behavioral compliance for students, including implementing behavior plans.
