Paraprofessional - Old Rochester Regional Junior High School, Mattapoisett Old Rochester Regional School District/MA Supt. #55 Mattapoisett, MA Job Details Full-time $23.54 - $27.70 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications General academic student support Behavior management for students with special needs Social skills building Teacher collaboration Student emotional support Student social support Working with middle schoolers Social-emotional learning (SEL) support in special education Social-emotional development (child development components) IEP implementation Entry level Full Job Description Old Rochester Regional School District is currently seeking a paraprofessional at our Junior High School to support grades 7 & 8.Paraprofessionals work under the direction of a special educator, related service providers, and in collaboration with other paraprofessionals and school-based personnel to meet the goals and objectives of students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Services may include a focus on academic support, behavioral support, sensory support, communication facilitation, transitions among school settings, addressing health, hygiene and safety needs, and guiding the development of social and emotional skills with individuals or groups of students.
