Bilingual; fluent in Spanish, requiredProof of Spanish proficiency via Spanish MTEL, WPT/OPI, or other pathway as approved in DESE Guidance for the Provision of Interpreters in the Education Setting (p. 7 and 8), required within the first year of employmentCompletion of the 2-hour online Language Ambassador Training Course, certificate required upon hireHigh School Diploma or GED requiredBachelors Degree preferred;Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement preferred;Experience working with students with and without disabilities;Demonstrate the ability to assist in the inclusion and/or Special Education classroom;Experience working with English Language LearnersBilingual preferredCPI training preferredResponsibilities:
This position works within our Spanish/English dual language program.
