Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or at least 2 years at an institution of higher education
  • Special Needs Middle School experience preferred
  • Experience as a teaching assistant in Special Education environment, preferably with students with social-emotional disabilities
  • CPI training preferred
  • Team player, flexible
Duties:
  • Assist and support students in specialized program for students returning from extended absences and for students with social-emotional disabilities
  • Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team of educators
  • Ability to modify curriculum
  • Work collaboratively with others in the classroom
  • Must attend and participate in early release day activities

$19 to $24 Per Hour
