JOB GOAL

Seeking multiple special education paraprofessionals to support students during the Summer Extended School Year Program. Paraprofessionals will provide support and instruction in either a substantially separate program or learning center. We offer programming, services, and instruction for grades PK- Post HS. Through the interview process, you will discuss your preferences for teaching environment and grades. The Summer Enrichment Program runs from July 6-Aug 6, 8:15-12:15 each day. Current NPS employees as well as outside applicants are encouraged to apply.

Understanding of and commitment to the principles and practices of diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice as they relate to student engagement Understanding and acceptance of students with diverse learning needs

Preferred Experience:

Experience working with children/students in an educational or other formal setting

Skills:

Demonstrated aptitude for work to be performed Candidates should have a passion for working with students, families, and colleagues Candidates must be flexible and collaborative Candidates must be able to multitask in a fast-paced, supportive environment that nurtures student growth Candidates must be organized and able to meet ongoing, time-sensitive deadlines for work production Candidates must be punctual and able to stick to a predetermined school day schedule Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and in conformity with state certification requirements.
