We have exciting opportunities available across multiple preschools, daycares, and childcare centers in New Bedford, Fairhaven and surrounding areas in Bristol County. We are hiring for both Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers across our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms.
•We are offering a $1,500 Hiring Incentive for qualified candidates depending on experience and position. Please note, the sign on bonus is subject to school approval.

Teacher Responsibilities:
Interact affectionately and respectfully with children Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment Communicate professionally and warmly with children, families, and peers Collaborate effectively with other teachers and school staff members Follow all health and safety policies and procedures while supervising the children at all times Teacher Qualifications (all teaching positions): Must be 18 years or older Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children in a daycare, childcare center, preschool, or similar child care setting Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment All candidates must meet Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) requirements for their role
Education Requirements:
Lead Teachers:
Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field required, with the intention of obtaining a
Bachelor's Degree and EEC Lead Teacher Certification Teachers/Assistant Teachers:
Associate's Degree (or currently enrolled and working toward it), a CDA credential , or
EEC Certification Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of classroom experience in a childcare center, preschool, or Head Start program Experience developing lesson plans, leading classrooms, and engaging with families about child development Familiarity with Head Start program standards and Massachusetts EEC regulations Make a difference in daycare and preschool education with EarlyDay and apply today.
