Aug 26, 2026 Job Description 182-day school-year position Responsibilities Include the
Following:
  • supporting students with disabilities in various classroom environments
  • reintegrating students to the school after hospitalization and/or lengthy absences
  • assisting teachers in providing accommodations to students with disabilities
  • assisting in small group specialized instruction
  • collecting data on student behavior and providing input when necessary
  • supervising students in various settings
  • collaborating with supervising teachers
  • reviewing and understanding IEPs
  • Additional duties and relevant responsibilities as assigned by the high school administration.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is generally performed in a school environment during the school day, however, there may be occasions for after-school meetings
WORKDAY:
The workday is 7:30 am to 2:30 pm. Placement on the salary scale is at the discretion of the principal, according to experience level and skill set.
