Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Assist Supervising Teacher in preparing the classroom environment and facilitating daily activities and transitions to ensure smooth classroom operations. Supervise students in the classroom and/or on the playground.
Compensation:
The daily rate for substitute teacher assistants is $108.
