Job Goal:
Successfully supports classroom teacher(s) in assisting students with disabilities and/or behavioral issues.
Qualifications:
Successful candidate will possess at minimum an Associate's Degree, but a Bachelor's Degree is preferred; and will have experience working in a high school setting.
Major Duties:
Assists classroom teacher(s) in the implementation of accommodations and modifications appropriate to students' needs and in accordance with strategies to help students achieve in the general curriculum.
Position Type:
School Year Monday - Friday 7 hours per day
Salary:
Commensurate with experience and under the guidelines of the Paraprofessional contract.
