Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Shape young learners' everyday experiences by providing essential support in a dynamic educational environment. As an engaged paraprofessional, you will collaborate closely with classroom teachers and staff to foster positive academic and social growth. This contract role is situated conveniently near Quincy, MA, and comes with the possibility of contract renewal for those who make a significant impact.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
Previous experience working in educational or school settings is preferred Ability to assist with classroom management and support instructional activities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Patience, flexibility, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping students succeed Willingness to follow guidance and take initiative when necessary Ability to work well as part of a collaborative team
Key Responsibilities:
Provide classroom support, including working one-on-one or in small groups with students Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and academic activities Offer support to students with special needs or individualized educational goals Help maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment Supervise students during classroom activities and transitions Support teachers in preparing instructional materials and organizing resources Communicate effectively with students, staff, and other professionals
