Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students' growth and success as a full-time contract paraprofessional. You will play a key part in a dynamic educational setting, working 32.5 hours each week to make a positive difference in the lives of learners with developmental needs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Experience as a paraprofessional or similar support role in a school environment is preferred Familiarity working with students with developmental needs and a compassionate, patient approach Ability to collaborate well with teachers, support staff, and families Strong communication skills and adaptability in a dynamic classroom High school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant coursework or paraprofessional certification a plus
Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on instructional and behavioral support to students in developmental classrooms Collaborate with lead teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Assist students with classroom activities, ensuring participation and engagement Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment that encourages student growth and independence Support students' needs with daily routines, mobility, and learning materials Help manage classroom organization and contribute to a positive educational atmosphere Working in this role, you will develop strong relationships with students and educational staff, witnessing first-hand the progress and achievements of those you support.
