JOB GOAL
To work with students with ASD and/or emotional needs within the general education environment or in a sub-separate classroom.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Works with elementary students with special needs and supports them in instructional and non-instructional settings, as directed by the special education teacher. 2.Assist with peer interactions during unstructured times during the school day, i.e. recess, lunch. 3. Communicate with general education teachers any special information they need to know. 4. Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about the students as is expected of a fully licensed teacher. 5. Perform related duties as directed by the building principal and/or the Director of Special Education.
