Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description
The paraprofessional will assist special education teachers in providing an innovative, high-quality educational program designed to meet the needs of students across various classrooms. Applicant must be Highly Qualified by having an Associate's Degree or successfully passing the Para Pro Assessment. Please indicate in your application if you have passed the Para Pro Assessment and/or have an associate's degree. Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Nonviolent Physical Intervention strategies training, offered by the district, is required for the selected candidate. You are required to be able to perform a restraint.
