Worcester State University's Department of Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences invites applicants for a full-time, temporary, visiting assistant professor or visiting assistant instructor position in speech-language pathology for January-May 2027. We seek individuals with expertise in any of the following areas: acquired adult language disorders/aphasia adult neurogenic communicative disorders About the department: The Department of Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences at Worcester State University serves to meet the needs of its students by providing a rigorous, scientifically sound, culturally responsive, evidence-based education with experiential learning opportunities. Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses for a total of 12 credits or four courses, advise undergraduate and graduate students, have the opportunity to supervise in the on-campus Speech-Language Hearing Center, have the opportunity to mentor students in a research environment, and serve on Department committees.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree or SLP.D. Three years experience as a speech-language pathologist, graduate student supervision experience. Eligibility for or current holder of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts professional licensure in Speech-Language Pathology and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Preferred Qualifications:
Earned research doctorate (Ph. D. or Ed. D.). Three years experience as a speech-language pathologist. Graduate student supervision experience, Current holder of Commonwealth of Massachusetts professional licensure in Speech-Language Pathology and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).

This is a full-time, benefited, exempt position. Salary is commensurate with experience in accordance with the Appendix O of the MSCA contract.
