Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher or Aide to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. This role is essential in supporting the developmental needs of preschool-aged children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth through play-based learning and structured activities. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Teach physical education activities that promote gross motor skills and overall health. Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Foster literacy education through interactive reading sessions and phonics activities. Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents regarding their progress. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education trends. Experience 90 hour certification is preferred or willingness to obtain the required certifications to become a lead teacher. Experience working in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and child welfare practices. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
