Job Description
KinderCare is seeking an Assistant Teacher for Scotchtown Hills Elementary to support high-quality early childhood education. In this role, you will assist the lead teacher with planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that nurture each child's social, emotional, and academic growth. You will help supervise children, maintain a safe and inclusive classroom, prepare materials, and communicate with families and staff. Responsibilities Assist lead teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson implementation. Supervise children to ensure safety, engagement, and positive behavior. Support individualized learning and social-emotional development. Prepare and organize classroom materials and learning centers. Communicate effectively with staff and families as directed by lead teacher. Maintain a clean, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. Follow school and Kinder Care policies, health, and safety procedures. Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
