Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and early childhood development skills Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety and positive behavior Support classroom management strategies to foster a respectful and inclusive environment for all students Engage children in educational activities that develop social skills, creativity, and critical thinking Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and daily experiences Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and compliance with educational regulations such as the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt instructional methods for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or autism Utilize educational technologies and computers to enhance learning experiences Support behavior management techniques to promote positive conduct and emotional regulation Assist in documenting student progress through proofreading reports and maintaining accurate records

Header:

Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Familiarity with classroom behavior management and educational compliance standards Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR is required or obtainable upon hire Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators and mentors Proficiency with computers and educational technologies to support classroom activities Demonstrated understanding of the Childcare Licensing Regulations and the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) requirements Private school experience or experience in similar educational environments is advantageous Join us in shaping the future by providing a supportive, enriching environment where young children can learn, grow, and succeed!
