Job Description

Emmanuel Methodist Preschool is a Christian early childhood program dedicated to nurturing the spiritual, academic, social, and emotional development of young children. We provide a loving, safe, and nurturing environment where children learn through play. Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant to support our lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and spiritually enriching classroom environment. The ideal candidate has a heart for young children, to help them grow socially, spiritually, emotionally, and academically. Key Responsibilities Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities Support classroom management and positive behavior guidance Most be able to assist in delivering age appropriate curriculum. Help prepare instructional materials and classroom setup Supervise children during playtime, meals, rest time, and outdoor activities Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment Model Christian values and participate in prayer, Bible stories, and faith-based activities Communicate respectfully and professionally with staff and parents Qualifications Experience working with preschool-aged children (preferred) High school diploma or equivalent (ECE coursework or certification preferred) Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor Must pass background check and meet state childcare requirements Join us as a Teacher Assistant if you're eager to inspire young minds while supporting diverse learners! Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
