Job Description
POSITION
Part-Time Assistant Preschool Teacher in the Young Foxhounds Reports to:Preschool Director Responsibilities:
Assists the Lead Teacher in creating a developmentally appropriate program for our children. Assists the Lead Teacher in developing weekly lesson plans, activities, and class set-ups. Assesses the children's needs and development. Works closely with families to encourage mutual cooperation. Provides guidance to instructional staff to help resolve issues with children when necessary. Ensures the safety of all children in our program. Closely follows licensing regulations related to child care. Supports the Lead Teacher in the classroom and assists with behavior management.Education and Qualifications:
90 Hour Certification in Early Child Care preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a childcare setting. Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience, including lesson planning. Passionate about supporting the development and well-being of children. CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to complete upon hire. Completion of Health and Safety and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) courses required, or willingness to complete upon hire.Schedule:
Mondays- Fridays, from 8:00 am
