Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Teacher Aide to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster positive developmental experiences for children in our care, ensuring they feel valued and supported as they explore, learn, and grow. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to early childhood development while gaining valuable classroom experience. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meal times, naps, and transitions to ensure safety at all times Support children with daily routines such as diapering, toileting, and personal hygiene in accordance with health and safety standards Engage children through interactive play, educational activities, and positive behavior management strategies Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences Follow mandated reporting laws by promptly reporting any concerns related to child safety or well-being Support classroom management efforts to foster a respectful and inclusive atmosphere for all children Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is preferred Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques Certification in first aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid) Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience and positive reinforcement strategies Experience with toddler care, infant care, or nannying is advantageous Commitment to creating a safe, nurturing environment that promotes learning through play Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of young children! $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
