Key Qualifications:

Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or similar support role in schools Familiarity with classroom procedures and working alongside teachers to implement individualized plans Ability to assist with academic and behavioral support for students with diverse backgrounds and needs Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Reliability and adaptability to work the full duration of the school year High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or relevant education a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

Support instructional activities under the guidance of certified teachers Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students as needed Assist with classroom management and help maintain a safe, productive environment Aid students with assignments, technology use, and adapting materials as necessary Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere to promote student growth and engagement Communicate regularly with teachers and staff to monitor student progress and well-being
