Qualifications and Experience:

At least 2 years of college education required; 3 years strongly preferred (aligning with Ed Tech III requirements) Prior experience as a Paraprofessional or Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) in a school or educational setting Understanding of student behavioral management strategies Strong communication skills to work effectively with faculty, students, and parents Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic classroom environments

Main Responsibilities:

Provide academic and behavioral support to students in general and special education settings Assist lead teachers with instructional activities, classroom organization, and materials preparation Supervise students both in and out of the classroom, promoting a positive learning environment Implement individualized instructional and behavioral plans as directed by certified teachers or school staff Document student progress and collaborative notes as needed
